Made in Bangladesh

Shimu, a young factory worker in Dhaka, Bangladesh joins the workers’ union after the death of a co-worker in an accident. Shimu finds herself to be finding a new voice and purpose by attending workers union meetings. She begins to join forces with her friends at the factory so they can raise their voices together. Shimu must put up a strong fight at home with her unemployed husband who wants to control her mobility, and at the factory where it becomes growingly difficult to pursue the union.
