A faded notebook with closely handwritten pages tells of an unknown Hungarian man’s visits to the cinema between the years of 1942 and 1994. This notebook sets a young filmmaker on the path of discovering a lost cinema legacy and a split family, for whom film has been the only thing holding them together.
